Material - Plastic

This lesson I learned what you can do with plastic and how to make plastic objects.
First, we made a mold with alginate. This is a powder that you blend with water and then it will become some kind of rubber. When it's still liquid you put your hand in it and if you wait long enough it will be solid and you can pull your hand out of it. Then you have a mold where you could pour plaster in like we did in the picture below.

I also experimented with a machine that vacuums an object in plastic (in this case a Rubik's cube). When the plastic has the shape of your object. I used it to make a mold out of the object and made a plastic version of it.
